TEACHER’S BIOS

Cilyse

My name is Cilyse and I have been training pole for the past 9 years. I officially Brought Pole Secrets early in 2019 and have been teaching for 5 years. I absolutely love teaching, helping my students to achieve their goals, conquer their fears and build their self-confidence.
I adore all things Pole, but my absolute favourite would be anything Flexibility and Splits. I very much enjoy a challenge as like the process of starting a move and working with it until you have it comfortable and fluent.

Olivia

My name is Olivia, I have been a student at Pole Secrets for just over five years now.
I have been teaching at this studio for two years. I currently teach the Inter 3 class as well as an All Things Dance Class but i also have experience in teaching beginners thru to Intermediate 5.
Teaching is something I enjoy doing as dance is something that I love to do and I am passionate about. I want to share my gifts and passions with others who are interested in learning. I’ve been a dancer since I was three years old and started my pole dancing in 2017. My favourite dance style and what I feel I excel in is contemporary dance.
A couple of my favourite pole moves I can do right now are my aerial iron cross and my devils elbow. I have many favourites though! I would love to be able to achieve many more moves but right now I’m intrigued in training for a Spatchcock….a super bendy move and flips!
The confidence that once only twinkled inside of me has been ignited, like a slow burn since training at this wonderful studio.
I feel as though dance and specifically pole dance has guided me to feel more comfortable, athletic and beautiful in my body plus all the amazing, strong and sexy moves that i can do feels very rewarding.
I always leave the studio feeling better than when I did coming in.

Rosa

My name is Rosa and I started pole dancing in the Netherlands. A friend introduced me to pole dancing and I never looked back. I absolutely love it. I have been dancing ballet, contemporary, dancehall, hip-hop and streetdance, but pole dancing became my passion, which I love to share! Soon after I took my first lessons, I decided I would love to instruct this beautiful art form. I have competed in Netherlands as well as in Australia in doubles and solo divisions.
I love to combine poledance with other specialties, like burlesque or acroyoga. It gives me great joy to see someone develop their abilities and to support someone on their (pole) journey. Pole secrets is not only a studio where you come and do a class, its a place that makes you feel good, sexy and proud at yourself. If I can help and make you feel better for the day that makes me very happy! My favourite thing in pole is anything static, I love dynamic moves but I also love to flow away with burlesque feather fans in which I hope to see you in “All things dance”.

Jorja

My name is Jorja and I’ve been at Pole Secrets since 2020. In only the last 4 years a confidence has grown inside me that cannot be described in words, all thanks to pole and the people in the studio. I knew early on that teaching was a goal of mine in my pole dancing journey… Being able to help students smash goals and overcome fears would bring me so much joy!

I have just started teaching beginners in 2024 and have fallen in love with pole all over again! I have loved helping students learn that their bodies are amazing and capable of amazing things!

I started dancing when Pole Secrets began offering the All Things Dance class and very quickly fell in love with dance! The studio is definitely my favourite place to spend my nights and I always find it’s where I want to be when I’m feeling down. I always leave feeling amazing!

A few favourite moves of mine would have to be a broken dragons tail, elbow jade split and any butterfly variation!

Jill

I have been pole dancing at Pole Secrets now for about 3 years but I have done dancing for over 10 years. I have just started teaching All things Dance at Pole Secrets this year and look forward to picking up a beginner class early next year. My back ground is mainly in hip hop and jazz, I love to mesh these styles into a pole routine. I love dances that you can add your own sass and flare to my favourite pole moves are the ones that I have to train to get, I don’t like them at the time but that feeling of practicing something and finally getting it makes it worthwhile.

Stacey

My name is Stacey. I am a personal trainer on the Central Coast and have been working in the industry for around 10 Years now.
I currently run Pole Conditioning classes at Pole secrets as well as running my own Bootcamp, 1:1 sessions and Post Natal sessions.
I started working alongside Cilyse after training her 1:1 for around 1 ½ years.
I absolutely love what I do, watching people grow and learn what their body and mind are capable of. I’ve got great passion in teaching people in teaching people correct form and techniques so they train in the way with or without me present.
The group in Pole Conditioning are such a blast. Lots of smiling and laughter alongside their workouts. So much fun!
